Color Play Friday - EPP at the Beach

Hey everyone! Color Play Friday is back again this week!

Color Play Friday (CPF) is a fun, weekly challenge hosted by Lorinda from Laurel, Poppy and Pine. Each week she provides one of her photographs as inspiration and then the CPF participants create a color palette and a fabric bundle based on the photo. It's a lot of fun and it's open to everyone! You can find more info on how to play along by clicking on the CPF button on my sidebar.

This week's photo is called EPP at the Beach. (Don't know what EPP is? Check out my How to Speak Like a Quilter page for a fun list of quilting terms.)

Fun Fact: This is the first time fabric has been featured in a Color Play Friday photo!

Here is what I came up with.

The fabric in the EPP project is all from the manufacturer Cotton + Steel so I thought it would be fun to completely avoid that fabric in my bundle. As I started choosing fabrics to go with my palette, I kept pulling Art Gallery fabrics. Somewhere along the way I thought it would be a great idea to pull ONLY Art Gallery fabrics. Sometimes I don't know what I'm thinking... Well, this is the result of that bit of craziness. I think it works.

Until next time!
